Unleashing Faith for Bold Victories
Don Carpenter: Thank you for joining me today.
Don Carpenter: God is so good to us.
Don Carpenter: Today I'm going to share with you some things that's going to excite your faith, that's going to just cause you to come alive.
Don Carpenter: My name is Don Carpenter.
Don Carpenter: I am a minister here in Canada.
Don Carpenter: I've been in the ministry 62 years.
Don Carpenter: I'm a Bible college president.
Don Carpenter: I travel all over the world and preach, I do conferences, and today I'm spending some time with you.
Don Carpenter: We live in what the bible calls "E conomics are up and down for many people.
Don Carpenter: We have wars and rumors of wars.
Don Carpenter: People are wondering what does this all ?
Don Carpenter: In the midst of it all, people are concerned about their well-being.
Don Carpenter: Are we going to enough finances to survive or will I have a place to live?
Don Carpenter: When we're in the work of the Lord and the ministry, God shows us things.
Don Carpenter: How can we make a difference?
Don Carpenter: God has equipped us with something that's called faith and as a believer, a spirit-filled believer, when you release faith, it requires boldness, there's a risk.
Don Carpenter: People may say, "what if I do it and nothing happens?
Don Carpenter: I remember one time I was ministering in a church in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Don Carpenter: I've been in several nights of meetings, as I entered the church people people were saying to me "I brought my brother, he's going to get saved tonight and I know that when you pray for my mother, she's going to be healed, and so on, like this.
Don Carpenter: And I was spending some time just talking to the Lord just before I went out to preach and the church was absolutely packed.
Don Carpenter: There wasn't a seat left in the house and I said, lord, what if this doesn't happen?
Don Carpenter: And Lord, what if I pray for somebody and it doesn't work?
Don Carpenter: And what if I release my faith and nothing happens?
Don Carpenter: And I felt the Lord was saying to me he said Don, don, don, whose church is this?
Don Carpenter: And I said, well, it's your church, lord.
Don Carpenter: And then he says and who do you belong to?
Don Carpenter: And I said well, I belong to you, lord.
Don Carpenter: I realized that it's God that works and I have to have the faith.
Don Carpenter: And my faith rose to such a point, right then and there, there was no doubt in my mind.
Don Carpenter: It's the Lord's work, I am not in the kingdom of God working for the things from a position of weakness.
Don Carpenter: God has equipped every believer with faith.
Don Carpenter: what If nothing happens?
Don Carpenter: As this thought came to me, and I'm sure it was a God thought what if something does?
Don Carpenter: One has to step out and believe God.
Don Carpenter: We are running for our life.
Don Carpenter: Everything that you do, you put everything into it.
Don Carpenter: Jesus set the great example.
Don Carpenter: He had to be about the father's business and that was exactly what he was doing.
Don Carpenter: I have learned that that once I commit to something, I must be prepared to carry that mission through to to where it's supposed to go.
Don Carpenter: When you proceed, you know, and there's going to be probably resistance.
Don Carpenter: You may get the thought "I can't do this.
Don Carpenter: I probably nobody wants to listen.
Don Carpenter: Listen to me.
Don Carpenter: Faith in God brings forth miracles.
Don Carpenter: Faith is a gift that God has given to us and we must be strong in our will and in our purpose.
Don Carpenter: ThatYou must have faith that you heard from God and that you are going to do it.
Don Carpenter: Once you commit, it is absolutely amazing what will happen.
Don Carpenter: I could tell you, story after when I've been in situations where I did not have any idea how I was going to get out of it.
Don Carpenter: Things were against me.
Don Carpenter: I would be someplace and and I'm thinking, lord, I don't even know where to turn today, and I would bring it before the Lord and I felt like, in the spirit of God, that he would tell me what to do and then I would step out and I would do it.
Don Carpenter: Always remember that you must be confident.
Don Carpenter: You must be sure that you are a child of God and when God tells you to do it, you must be confident that your faith is going to be released and it's going to happen.
Don Carpenter: You have to be fearless.
Don Carpenter: Your confidence has to be such that your thinking "of course, we're going to succeed.
Don Carpenter: Failure is not an option.
Don Carpenter: Okay, I'm going to be bold.
Don Carpenter: Member intimidation We'll always try to see if it can find somebody that it can cower.
Don Carpenter: When you're standing in the midst of a trial, and you know that you've heard from God that you know this is what you're supposed to be doing, and You're going to do it, and you can expect that it's going to happen.
Don Carpenter: This enemy, called fear that comes , remember every piece of ground that you have taken, that you had to fight to get there.
Don Carpenter: You had to conquer that, whether it was your fear or overcoming your limitations, whatever it was.
Don Carpenter: That's the way it was with Jesus.
Don Carpenter: Paul, the Apostle that we read about in Scripture, or hear about great men and women of faith today and things that they perform and do.
Don Carpenter: We all fight enemies, but I thank God that he's the one that is our defense.
Don Carpenter: He tells us to go and fight the fight of faith, and that's what I do.
Don Carpenter: That's what you're going to do.
Don Carpenter: You're going to conquer, you're going to stand on what 1 Timothy 6 says, you're going to fight the good fight of faith.
Don Carpenter: You've had a vision.
Don Carpenter: You're going to unleash that vision.
Don Carpenter: You're going to remove every mental, every spiritual roadblock, and you know what the outcome is going to be when you do that.
Don Carpenter: It's going to be victory, victory.
Don Carpenter: You're going to accomplish your mission and you're going to move forward and you're going to attain your goal.
Don Carpenter: When that happens and you release your faith, it creates an opportunity.
Don Carpenter: Faith creates an opportunity.
Don Carpenter: Many people when they faith may people say, "I would like to do that.
Don Carpenter: Can you imagine what you could do if you thought that absolutely nothing would stand in your way?
Don Carpenter: Can you imagine how strong you would be and how bold you would be?
Don Carpenter: Oh, wow, see, here may well be times that you will run unopposed, like nothing is going to be there to hinder you, and there are going to be times where it seems like everything's against you.
Don Carpenter: B e bold and just keep moving forward, as if there's no limits, as if there's no walls, as if there's no restrictions.
Don Carpenter: That's what faith does.
Don Carpenter: Faith removes the walls, it removes the restrictions.
Don Carpenter: Maybe another Christian believer will speak and ask someone " the ever-thought-about given their lives to Christ.
Don Carpenter: And maybe they're thinking, well, I'm too evil, too sinful, I've done too many things wrong.
Don Carpenter: I couldn't do that.
Don Carpenter: God loves us and God forgives us.
Don Carpenter: The blood of Christ covers every sin and when we come through that, we accept Jesus as Lord.
Don Carpenter: We are We're going to be bold and move forward.
Don Carpenter: As a Believer, we are going to view things differently.
Don Carpenter: We don't look at what we have in the natural Because, see, as a believer, it's Christ, it's God working through us.
Don Carpenter: We're vessels, we're channels.
Don Carpenter: We're vessels that God works through and releases his power through.
Don Carpenter: That's why he uses God you .
Don Carpenter: God has things for you to do that only you can do.
Don Carpenter: You have people to speak to about about the things of God, and you do it so well and that's why God sends you to them.
Don Carpenter: If you will be open before God and say "God, you can move through my life and I've got faith and I'm believing that you're with me.
Don Carpenter: That will create opportunities right there in itself.
Don Carpenter: I've often heard it said over the years that the hardest part of your mission, the most difficult of anything you feel that God wants you to do, the most difficult time is the starting time.
Don Carpenter: It's when you're going to say I'm going to do it and I'm going to take steps right now and I'm going to start it.
Don Carpenter: When that happens, we got some idea that faith is blind and all of that.
Don Carpenter: No, when we face the reality that's before us, you're free to act.
Don Carpenter: Always pursue God's best for you.
Don Carpenter: Believe that you're the instrument that God is going to work through, just as easy, just as strong, just as powerful, just as anointed as whoever the greatest Christian you think in your mind is.
Don Carpenter: God wants you to be that way.
Don Carpenter: Always live and move toward the peak of your ability.
Don Carpenter: Always do your best.
Don Carpenter: Don't allow anybody to put you down or the enemy will say "you can't do that.
Don Carpenter: What if you do it and fail?
Don Carpenter: Remember what I said.
Don Carpenter: Remember what I said Faith is a risk, but when you know that God is with you and you believe that that's what you should be doing, do it.
Don Carpenter: It's going to happen.
Don Carpenter: You already picture in your mind.
Don Carpenter: You already picture in your mind what the result is going to be, but yet the enemy says not today.
Don Carpenter: The enemy may say well, there's somebody else who can do it better.
Don Carpenter: That is an adversity that's there before you and you need to defeat that.
Don Carpenter: And you're going to encounter this.
Don Carpenter: Don't think that you're the only person that encounters that.
Don Carpenter: You're going to encounter it, but I'm going to tell you what God has made the way for you.
Don Carpenter: So you just step out and you do it.
Don Carpenter: We're thinking "if it's God's will, okay, if something is God's will, or this is what I'm supposed to do, how can I?
Don Carpenter: Is this a once in a lifetime thing?
Don Carpenter: Is this going to happen again, like if I do this today and then tomorrow, what if I run out of faith?
Don Carpenter: You're not going to run out of faith.
Don Carpenter: Okay, it's there, it's in you.
Don Carpenter: God wants you to release it.
Don Carpenter: Okay, you just establish some purpose in your mind that I'm going to live to the peak of my ability today and that I am going to have a mindset that I am going to live a fulfilled life and every day, when I come to the end of the day, I'm going to be able to look back on it and say I achieved today what I felt that I should achieve.
Don Carpenter: You had faith for it and God's going to honor your faith.
Don Carpenter: You should always, look at attaining outstanding personal achievements in your life.
Don Carpenter: Unlock the doors.
Don Carpenter: The door is there and God wants you to turn the handle, seize it.
Don Carpenter: Step into this new faith new level that God wants to give you.
Don Carpenter: Don't be held back.
Don Carpenter: you.
Don Carpenter: be held back by what others say because sa can't do.
Don Carpenter: You're going to meet people who say what you can't do.
Don Carpenter: Whenever people tell me that I can't do something, what they're really saying to me is they can't do it, but I can do it because in Christ I can do all things.
Don Carpenter: I'm going to release faith and I'm going to do it, and I want you to free yourself from the weakness of others.
Don Carpenter: Read the Bible in the morning, read a verse, pray, get the mind of God.
Don Carpenter: God will speak to you about what you've been praying about.
Don Carpenter: Today is a good day to start walking out and seeing what's going to happen.
Don Carpenter: Continually renew yourself every day, renew your mindset, speak to yourself.
Don Carpenter: Whatever your name is, say that and say you can do it.
Don Carpenter: I will say Don, "you can do it.
Don Carpenter: And thank you, lord, for your spirit.
Don Carpenter: Thank you, lord, that I'm your child, your son.
Don Carpenter: Thank you, father, that I have ears to hear and eyes to see and a mouth to speak with and I've got feet to walk, hands to work.
Don Carpenter: I can do it.
Don Carpenter: God has spoke to me and I'm going to do it by faith.
Don Carpenter: Yeah, I'm just going to do it.
Don Carpenter: Why are you here?
Don Carpenter: God told me to be here.
Don Carpenter: This is what God wants me to do and I'm going to do it.
Expecting Greater Faith in God
Don Carpenter: Whatever it is, Don't stop and think about.
Don Carpenter: Just think," God is going to come on the scene.
Don Carpenter: I'm going to release my faith, I'm going to stand with them and we're going to see a turnaround.
Don Carpenter: So always, whatever you dream, whatever your goal is in God, always expect to exceed that, always expect greater.
Don Carpenter: Am I going to do, because Jesus Christ is with me and I've got faith.
Don Carpenter: I'm going to pray with you, father, in the name of Jesus.
Don Carpenter: I pray this precious one to be strong.
Don Carpenter: I rebuke the enemy that tries to tell them that they cannot receive from God, they can In Christ.
Don Carpenter: All things are possible, and I minister encouragement today in Jesus' name.
Don Carpenter: Amen.
